We support outstanding students and doctoral candidates in fully dedicating themselves to their studies — while also encouraging their personal development. Through financing research proposals and study projects, the Claussen-Simon Foundation strengthens learning and teaching at Hamburg colleges and universities.
Dissertation Plus
We support outstanding academics pursuing their doctorates, and facilitate relationships between professors and doctoral candidates.
We award scholarships to young people from non-academic families who are about to begin—or have just begun—a Bachelor's or state examination degree program.
Active and former fellows of the Claussen-Simon Foundation can submit applications for funding for voluntary initiatives in the areas of science communication and cultural education, equal opportunities and diversity, sustainability and climate protection.
